Pizza Hut teams with Rockstar for video game promo

DALLAS -- Pizza Hut is teaming up with Rockstar Games for a sweepstakes to promote the launch of Rockstar Games' video game Midnight Club LA. Entrants will have the chance to win a $100,000 customized Saleen Mustang, similar to one featured in the game.
 
Customers can enter at pizzahut.com from Sept. 22 through Nov. 10, 2008. 
 
Additional prizes include two sets of TIS car rims (approximate retail value -- $2,000 per set); five sets of four Pirelli P-Zero tires ($500 per set), 10 Midnight Club LA branded X-Box 360 consoles ($399); and ten Parrot hands-free kits ($150).  Contestants also have the chance to win Midnight Club LA jackets designed by Los Angeles-based Five Four Clothing, hats, t-shirts and limited-edition remote control cars.
 
Pizza Hut’s branding will also be incorporated into the game. As players cruise through the streets of the virtual city, they'll see Pizza Hut billboards and restaurants.
 
Midnight Club LA is slated to be released Oct. 21.
