INDIANAPOLIS -- HotBox Pizza will open a franchise in Denton, Texas, the company has announced. HotBox, whose slogan is “Hot, but not Skanky,” began a franchising campaign last fall to expand the brand.
This is the first franchise experience for Lonnie Lindner, Scott Russo and Jim Lawson. The trio plan to open 10 - 15 additional HotBox locations in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area within the next five years. The new franchise will serve the same selection of pizzas HotBox is known for, including the Hot Chick, the Big Cheese and Porky the Pie.
April 27 is the first operational day for HotBox. The first 100 customers to enter the store, located at 214 E. Hickory St., on May 2 will receive one free pizza a month for 12 months.
