LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The National Restaurant Association will release its 2009 Restaurant Industry Forecast and will unveil its public policy agenda for the coming year. The forecast will be released Dec. 19 during a press conference at 11 a.m. EST at the NRA's Washington, D.C., media center.
This is the first year the press conference will be broadcast live online at www.restaurant.org. The live broadcast will be produced and managed by NetWorld Alliance & FastCasual.com. Click here to register for this event. Participating in the press conference are:
- Dawn Sweeney: Association President and CEO
- Hudson Riehle: Association Senior Vice President of Research and Information Services
- John Gay: Association Senior Vice President of Government Affairs and Public Policy
The 2009 Forecast will include economic, workforce, consumer and menu trends, as well as information for restaurant operators to overcome the current economic challenges and position themselves for future growth. The Association's legislative outlook will highlight key industry issues expected to be addressed by federal and state governments in 2009.
