WASHINGTON, D.C. — The National Restaurant Association will release its 2009 Restaurant Industry Forecast and unveil its public policy agenda for the coming year Dec. 19 at 11 a.m. Eastern time. The 2009 Forecast will include economic, workforce, consumer and menu trends as well as information for restaurant operators to overcome the current economic challenges and position themselves for future growth. The association's legislative outlook will highlight key industry issues expected to be addressed by federal and state governments in 2009.
The press conference will also be broadcast live online through www.restaurant.org. The live broadcast will be produced and managed by NetWorld Alliance and FastCasual.com. A teleconference line will also be available, with details to be announced.
