WEAVERVILLE, N.C. -- Blue Mountain Pizza in Weaverville is offering its own version of the presidential election by tracking sales of the restaurants two new gourmet Presidential Pizzas.
 
The McCain is a Southwest-influenced pie while the Obama features pineapple and other Hawaiian influences, reflecting his early childhood roots.
 
Sales of each pizza are tracked daily and posted on a chalkboard in the dining room. If the McCain pizza receives the most orders by Nov. 4, Blue Mountain will make a donation to the North Carolina Chapter of the USO. If the Obama pizza garners the most orders, the restaurant will make a donation to the local Manna Food Bank.
