San Francisco Chronicle: A San Francisco Board of Supervisors committee has forwarded to the full board an ordinance that would require chain restaurants to post nutritional information in their menus and on menu boards. The board is expected to pass the proposal.
 
The measure, endorsed by the committee Feb. 28, would apply to restaurants in San Francisco with 14 or more locations in California and would require that customers be notified of the amount of calories, saturated fats, carbohydrates and sodium in standard food items.
