EVERETT, Wash. — Garlic Jim's Famous Gourmet Pizza has appointed Michael Hartzell as a Washington State franchise consultant.

In his new role as franchise consultant, Hartzell will contribute to the operations department by working to enhance store-level sales and assisting with marketing and operations.

Hartzell brings about 40 years of experience in the food service business, with 24 of those years specifically in the pizza industry. Before joining Garlic Jim's, Hartzell worked for Pizza Hut as the vice president of marketing and human resources. He previously owned a Godfather's Pizza franchise.
