CLEVELAND — Geppetto's Pizza and Ribs, in conjunction with Onosys and Roberts Advertising, launched a new Geppetto's Web site and a promotional campaign encouraging its customers to order online.
Onosys' online ordering system incorporates technology that suggests the closest Geppetto's restaurant, remembers favorite orders and learns each user's food preferences. The system enables Geppetto's restaurants to provide its customers with the ability to view menu choices online and place orders via the Internet for pickup or delivery.
"Within three days after launch we saw 32 orders, which even surprised me at the success in such a short time period," said Mike O'Malley, president of Geppetto's. "Moreover, we saw a jump in average ticket size for online ordering, which was a key reason for deciding to go online."
Geppetto's Pizza and Ribs, founded in 1982, serves the northeast Ohio area with ribs, specialty pizza, wings, burgers, subs, salads and pasta.
