LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Papa John's Pizza has added Spanish text to its online ordering site (papajohns.com) to better serve Hispanic consumers.
According to a news release, by clicking on an "En Espanol" icon on the Web site, Spanish-speaking customers can read Papa John's online menu, nutritional information and use its restaurant locator.
According to eMarketer, there are 16.7 million Hispanic Internet users in the United States, and that number is expected to reach 20.9 million by 2010. In addition, a survey conducted by Feedback Research last year revealed that 69 percent of the Spanish-speaking population who shop online, do so on Spanish-language sites.
Earlier this year, Papa John's introduced 24/7 online ordering, allowing customers to plan meals up to 21 days in advance.
