COLUMBUS, Ohio — Donatos Pizza opened its newest Indianapolis location Aug. 22, a store design representing a completely new look for the company.
According to a news release, the 1,800 square-foot store bears contemporary interior elements like bold wall colors and distinctive graphics, an open kitchen, floor-to-ceiling windows and a stylized menu wall. The location also features Donatos' new logo, a red "D" tilted at 45-degrees signifying the store's overall modern feel and a departure from Donatos' traditional pizzeria-style store interior and logo. The store includes a dine-in area and a convenient "D to Go" drive-up window for call-ahead orders.
Donatos also has expanded its menu recently to include gourmet artisan pizzas in flavors like Chicken Carbonara and Spinach Romano, along with overstuffed, roasted chicken or meatball Parmesan timpano pizzas and hand-held Strombolis.
The concept store is the first in Indiana and the second of its kind in all of Donatos' 174 locations throughout five states. The company first introduced the concept in Hilliard, Ohio, in December 2005.
