LAS VEGAS—Pizza Patrón opened its first Nevada location in Las Vegas on April 12.
According to a news release, the store is franchised by former Arizona state Senator Alfredo Gutierrez, and Lalo Gonzalez, a Hispanic community activist and restaurant-industry veteran. A second location is currently under construction in Las Vegas.
Pizza Patrón is a Latino-focused concept whose stores are located in predominantly Hispanic neighborhoods. The company seeks store operators who live in those communities.
"Las Vegas has one of the fastest-growing Hispanic populations in the nation and is symbolic of the growing Latino community," said Gutierrez. "We look forward to reaching out to the Latino community in Las Vegas and growing with them."
