TROY, Mich. — NEXTEP Systems announced the rollout of a new online ordering solution that will allow restaurants to take customers' orders through their Web sites.
According to a news release, the NEXTEP system allows customers to pre-order meals for pick-up at the restaurant of their choice. But instead of using a Web form interface, customers will see on their personal computers the same rich, graphical user interface developed for its self-order kiosks operating in restaurants in the U.S.
Additional benefits of the NEXTEP approach include centralized administration, centralized reporting, a consistent customer experience and lower total cost of ownership.
