ARLINGTON, Texas — Intura Solutions, a supplier of point-of-sale and management software for delivery and quick-service restaurants, announced the release of Intura Vision 3.0.

According to a news release, this latest release of Intura's flagship software includes enhancements to the POS user interface, caller ID, improved ideal food cost calculations and a new passive customer display module.

"The advancements made in the inventory setup are now allowing us to produce the most accurate ideal food cost numbers we have ever had," said Matthew Tuck, regional director for Hungry Howie's Properties Inc., in Madison Heights, Mich. "The order-taking process, which was already very quick and user-friendly, is now even faster, with training time being almost nothing."

Version 3.0 also expands the reporting capabilities of Vision by including additional operational and management reports and the addition of extensive financial reporting options. Enterprise capabilities were improved by allowing store sites to push data to more than one centralized data center.

"This is the first major upgrade of Intura Vision since the inception of Intura and represents over a year of development work," said Gary W. Peek II, president of Intura Solutions. "The feedback from our beta testers and early adopters was overwhelmingly positive."
