LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Pi Star Communications, a leader in on-demand mobile point-of-delivery handheld applications, announced in a news release that it has partnered with Mapopolis as its primary mobile handheld mapping partner.

Mapopolis' mapping software will be used on the PiMobilePOD handheld driver unit. The unit is a satellite-tracking device that provides pizza drivers voice-guided navigation instructions to customer destinations. Via connection to a POS system, it also allows real-time, on-screen tracking, allowing store operators to manage driver fleets efficiently.
