Dallas Morning News: Ronald W. Parker, who was dismissed Dec. 11 as chief executive of Pizza Inn Inc., was added as a defendant Tuesday in a lawsuit over his employment contract and other actions he allegedly took while a company executive.
The amended suit, filed in Dallas County District Court, alleges that "at the direction of and/or with the help of" Mr. Parker and others, the law firm Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP "drafted and/or revised executive compensation agreements ... which by Akin Gump's own admission could impose 'significant liabilities' on Pizza Inn."
Rogge Dunn, Mr. Parker's attorney, said: "The lawsuit against Mr. Parker is totally without merit."
