• Italian study finds eating pizza may lower heart attack risk

The Independent: Institute of Pharmacological Research in Milan, Italy, discovered, in a survey of 1,000 people, that those who ate pizza at least twice a week were at the lowest risk of heart attack — with about half the risk of those who ate it only occasionally. They have no explanation for the findings, though lycopene, the antioxidant found in cooked tomatoes, could be a factor.
