CONCORD, Calif. — Round Table Pizza is introducing its new Skinny Crust, which the 500-unit company claims has all the flavor of its regular crust, but 30 percent fewer carbohydrates.
According to a news release, the new Skinny is made from the company's standard dough, but it's rolled thinner for a lighter, crispier crust.
The Skinny is available with any Round Table topping choice and comes in all sizes except extra large. According to the release, Round Table Pizza is the first major pizza chain to offer a reduced-carb pizza crust without reducing the amount or choice of toppings or altering the crust recipe itself.
The Skinny is available for a limited time at participating Round Table Pizza locations.
