According to Business First of Buffalo, on June 1 the company will present a plan to the Buffalo Planning Board to spend $2 million to add about 15,000 square feet to its current operations on the city's west side. The construction of the new two-level building would require the destruction of five nearby houses.
The complex will house the company's administrative offices, handle out-of-town orders, warehousing operations and serve as a test kitchen and training center. It also will function as a distribution hub for several new products La Nova will roll out this year, including frozen pizzas and frozen pizza dough.
The company expects the new growth will require 30 additional employees.
