CONCORD, Ontario—PixelPoint Technologies, a leading developer of pizzeria and restaurant POS software, announced the successful integration and partnership of its benchmark POS software with Compeat Restaurant Accounting Systems' software.
According to a news release, the strategic partnership will provide customers a seamless integration between PixelPoint's POS solution and Compeat's Restaurant Accounting solution, eliminating the need for manual entry of data taken from a POS system into spreadsheet software.
PixelPoint customers using Compeat now can turn POS data into daily sales mix reports and general ledger financial data, such as total sales, sales tax, payment types and more.
"What we liked about Compeat Accounting Systems was that their solution was designed specifically for the hospitality market," said Lino D'Angicco, cofounder and CEO of PixelPoint. "The integration has expanded our back-office accounting capabilities and is providing our customers with a total accounting solution."
PixelPoint customers like Sea King in Maryland are experiencing the benefits of the new integration. Sea King uses PixelPoint's HeadOffice ASP product to manage its various locations from a central point in Maryland, and Compeat for its general ledger purposes.
"Overnight the information is easily extracted from the PixelPoint database into journal entries," said Bill King, president of Sea King. "We then take the entries and turn it into the various financial reports we require using Compeat's software."
