Papa Murphy's Take ''N' Bake Pizza to cross 800-unit mark

VANCOUVER, Wash.—Papa Murphy's Take 'N' Bake Pizza announced it will open its 800th location on Feb. 18. According to a news release, the site is in Hanover Park, Ill.

The chain also said it plans to have 100 units in the Chicago market by 2010. Fifteen locations are scheduled to open in 2004, adding to the 17 Papa Murphy's stores currently in the region.

"Chicago is a city that's known for its pizza, and we're excited that our take-and-bake style provides another option for people," said Robert Elliott, executive vice president of marketing at Papa Murphy's. "We're putting down permanent roots in this community, and we look forward to becoming a part of the local flavor."
