ORESTES, Ind.--This year marks the second anniversary of Red Gold LLC's purchase of the business and brand labels of the California co-op Tri-Valley Growers.
According to a news release, the acquired branded product lines include REDPACK, TERESA, Sacramento, Tuttorosso, iL Migliore and Glorietta.
"This has proven to be a great strategic fit and opportunity for us to expand our foodservice branded presence especially," said David Halt, director of food service sales.
Red Gold LLC, the only vertically integrated tomato processor in the United States, operates three Indiana facilities in Elwood, Orestes and Geneva.
Its distribution arm, RG Transport, maintains an 85-truck fleet based in Elwood, Ind., and which services a 1 million square-foot distribution center in Alexandria, Ind.
The company's forward warehouses are located at: Star Distribution, Plant City, Florida; Total Warehousing, Lathrop, California; Weber Distribution, Rancho Cucamonga, California; and AJ Logistics Inc., Houston, Texas.
