LYNDEN, Wash. -- Twenty-six unit Pizza Mann, the largest pizza delivery chain in Austria, has partnered with SpeedLine Solutions to provide one-number ordering for Wienerwald, a casual restaurant chain.
According to a news release, serving Wienerwald through the center will allow Pizza Mann to profit from its investment.
"(W)e are excited to be working with Pizza Mann to develop their call center as a profit center in a new way, extending their services to another established European restaurant chain," said SpeedLine vice-president of development Terry Haan.
Pizza Mann installed its first call center in 1996, and then upgraded to SpeedLine's Call Center in 2000.
Today 20 Pizza Mann locations use the call center, along with 13 Wienerwald delivery-takeout units.
According to Pizza Mann CEO Alex Platzl, since adding the SpeedLine call center, check averages have increased by $1.40 each and customer callbacks for order corrections have dropped dramatically.
