CALGARY, Alberta -- Wildcard Wireless Solutions Inc. has announced that Vancouver's Your Choice For Easy Payments Inc. (Your Choice) has been chosen as the distributor of Wildcard's TransAKT cell-phone-based point-of-sale solution to Domino's Pizza stores in Canada.
According to a release, Your Choice was set up by a principal of Mad Pizza, Inc., a major Domino's Pizza franchisee in Canada, to introduce the TransAKT wireless point-of-sale payment technology to the chain's operators in the country.
An integrated PIN-pad-secured point-of-sale device, Wildcard's TransAKT wireless point-of-sale terminal attaches to Motorola's StarTAC/Timeport PCS and iDEN family of cellular phones, giving pizza franchisees the ability to easily and securely accept multiple methods of electronic payment at the customer's doorstep.
"We are certain (Domino's) franchisees will quickly understand how equipping their delivery personnel with this system will enhance their efficiency, professionalism and bottom line results," Wildcard president Daniel Pomerleau said in the release.
Under the terms of the agreement, Your Choice will place an initial order for 100 TransAKT terminals within 30 days and has a commitment to purchase a minimum of 1,000 terminals per year.
