LYNDEN, Wash. - A 63-store pizza and ice cream chain, Happy Joe's Pizza & Ice Cream Parlor, is equipping its restaurants with a point-of-sale system from SpeedLine Solutions.
Happy Joe's, which has locations in Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, Wisconsin and North Dakota, hopes the new system will help franchisees and corporate stores expand their capabilities, according to marketing director Kristel Ersan. Based in Bettendorf, Iowa, Happy Joe's is a family-owned company in business for 30 years.
Speedline, based in Lynden, Wash., specializes in providing POS systems to pizza companies. It will be the exclusive POS provider for Happy Joe's. Co-owner and vice president of development Terry Haan said the deal was the result of the restaurant company's search for a service-focused POS partner capable of handling its complex menu. SpeedLine has customers in the U.S., Canada and Europe.
