• Armed robber enters pizzeria through open back door

SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Spartanburg police are investigating an armed robbery of employees at a Spartanburg Pizza Inn.

According to the Spartanburg Herald-Journal, a manager said that at 11 p.m. on Jan. 10, a man entered through the back door, pointed a gun at employees and demanded the store's money.

When the store's cash register could not be opened, the suspect instead took purses from two employees and cash from another.

No arrest has been made.
