THE COLONY, Texas -- Pizza Inn, Inc. (Nasdaq: PZZI) is making a chain-wide introduction of its new Pepperoni Wraps appetizer.

The offering includes cheese and pepperoni rolled inside fresh-made dough and baked. The Wraps come with a choice of Wild Ranch, Marinara or Buttery Garlic dipping sauces.

According to a release, Pizza Inn tested the Wraps for two months. Sale price for the item was not published.

The roll-out will be backed by 30-second TV spots, color newspaper insert coupons and point-of-sale marketing pieces. An introductory offer of two free Wraps with the purchase of a $9.99 large one-topping Pizza will be employed as well.

Pizza Inn operates more than 400 franchised stores in 20 states and nine foreign countries.
