Actress Jolie thanks movie extras with 2,000 pizzas

NAMIBIA -- After five weeks of filming on location in Namibia for her upcoming movie, "Beyond Borders", actress Angelina Jolie ordered 2,000 pizzas to thank the extras who worked on the film.

Jolie, who played Lara Croft in "Tomb Raider", said she enjoyed working in Namibia because the locals respected her space.

Producer Lloyd Phillips said Jolie bought the pizzas and gave every extra a Beyond Borders T-shirt as a farewell gift.

According to The Namibian, the film crew said she was open and accessible on set, and that she made a point of greeting people on the set and playing with the extras' children between shoots.

"Beyond Borders" will be released near Christmastime.
