• Tricon stock passes $62, BofA sets target at $69

NEW YORK -- Banc of America Securities, based here, reiterated its coverage of Tricon Global Restaurants Inc. (NYSE: YUM) at "strong buy," according to Business First.

The firm also set Tricon's price target at $69 per share.

Tricon, which owns Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and KFC restaurants, reiterated its 2002 earnings expectation of $3.56 to $3.63 per share on April 8, during a conference of analysts held by BofA Securities.

Shares of Louisville, Ky.-based Tricon closed trading on April 10 at $62.50 a share.
