DALLAS -- Pizza Inn has completed the relocation of its corporate office, distribution center, training facilities and test kitchen.
The new facilities, which include a 100,000 square foot state-of-the art distribution hub and warehouse, are located on an 11-acre campus north of Dallas. The new headquarters consolidate formerly leased facilities that were spread throughout the Dallas area.
Pizza Inn president, Ronnie Parker said that centralizing all its corporate locations will help the company better support its franchise base and eliminate rising lease costs attached to its former headquarters in the city's downtown area.
Pizza Inn, which operates approximately 450 locations throughout the U.S., has trimmed about 50 stores from its ranks since 1999. Relatively flat sales and earnings also have kept its stock price near $2 for most of 2001.
