ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Domino's Pizza LLC announced March 20 that Hoyt Jones, the company's former executive vice president over franchise stores, will purchase nine stores in Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti and Saline, including the unit at the University of Michigan football stadium.
The transaction, which is expected to be completed March 25, includes all the stores in the company's home market, except for a store within Domino's headquarters.
Jones, a 17-year Domino's veteran, and his partner Dave Cesarini, formerly a Domino's regional director in Los Angeles, will call their new company Pizza Pride, Inc.
Domino's Pizza operates 7,072 stores throughout the United States and more than 60 international markets. It has 1,400 franchisees in its system.
