Minnesota Neapolitan pizzeria Punch Pizza reached out to its e-mail list to assuage the pain of Sunday night's Minnesota Vikings loss with free pizza.
 
The coupon, good for a free Margherita or Napoli Pizza, was good for Monday, Jan. 25. Patrons wishing to use the coupon had the option of printing the ad, or merely flashing it from their phones or laptops.
 
There's no word yet on how packed the seven Twin City-area pizzerias were on promotion night, but the e-mail did warn to come early or late in anticipation of a big turnout.
