NakedPizza has awarded area development contracts to experienced multiunit operators in the Denver, Las Vegas, Washington D.C., and Salt Lake City markets. NakedPizza has already awarded territories nationwide in Boulder, Colo., San Diego and Orange County, Calif., Miami, Orlando, and Tampa, Fla., Boston, New York, Kentucky, Cincinnati, Ohio, New Jersey, and New Orleans.
The company has garnered national attention for its innovative use of social media, high profile investors and stated goal of "demonstrating, by example, that fast food can be part of the solution to the global epidemic of obesity and chronic disease related to diet." Since late 2009, NakedPizza has received more than 5,000 franchising and investment inquiries.
The company also announced last month international expansion plans, first for Dubai.
