Cono Italiano Inc., the exclusive license holder to manufacture the drip-free Pizza Cono, has announced an agreement with Interstate Caterers to manufacture its line of frozen food products at their FDA-approved facility in South Plainfield, N.J. The cones will be available for sale to Interstate Caterer's current customers, which include their mobile catering client base, vending and consignment program with stores located at major gas stations.
Cono Italiano will provide Interstate Caterers with a fully automated filling line to produce up to 1,600 filled cones per hour. The fillings will include breakfast and snack fillings in addition to the traditional pizza filling.
Interstate Caterers will work in conjunction with Cono Italiano to expand on the company's existing product line and offer their expertise in food manufacturing and food service, which dates back to 1987.
