Up-and-coming pizza chain SPIN! Neapolitan Pizza is undergoing a menu overhaul as the company expands. With four units open and plans for expansion underway, SPIN! also has added a line of roasted vegetable pizzas on a rustic whole wheat crust, a signature line of deli sandwiches, and a second sangria - Chianti Sangria - to its menu. The additions sharpen the eatery's bargain artisan positioning, while also adding healthier crust options.
The concept focuses on the hand-made, locally produced model of segment contemporaries, but also utilizes a price point and build-your-own aspects borrowed from fast casual. All of SPIN!s ingredients, from its dough to roasted veggie toppings, are made or cooked fresh daily. Customers can choose between a menu of 17 signature pizzas, and an infinite variety of SPIN YOUR OWN! Pizzas. SPIN! also offers gluten-free pizza.
Menu tweak highlights include:
- Now joining SPIN!’s original thin-and-bubbly-crust pizzas on the menu are "Pizza Classicas," which feature hand-tossed, whole wheat pizza crusts layered with fresh mozzarella and lighter toppings. Pizza Classicas are available in a variety of choices that combine to create pizzas that are higher in fiber with a little heartier crust and a lighter taste.
- The company has also rounded out its panini sandwich offerings with four fancy deli-inspired options. They feature meats and vegetables roasted in SPIN! Neapolitan Pizza's trademark stone ovens, and are accompanied by a choice of kettle chips, a cup of steaming homemade soup or any of SPIN!'s fresh, flavor-packed lettuce or spinach salads.
- Following up on the summer success of its white Sangria, SPIN! has introduced a red Chianti Sangria, a combination of Chianti, oranges, lemons and secret spirits topped off with juicy sliced apples and frozen sugared grapes.
