Pizza Hut is going to make sure its customers are sufficiently stuffed on New Year’s Day. To celebrate the arrival of 1/1/11, the company is giving away 1,111 Stuffed Crust pizzas.
The promotion kicks off Pizza Hut's limited-time offer of a one-topping Stuffed Crust Pizza for $10.
"At Pizza Hut, we want everyone to know that you don't need to settle in 2011," said Chris Fuller, director of public relations at Pizza Hut. "Our New Year's resolution is to give you all of your favorites – like our one and only Stuffed Crust Pizza – at a price you can afford."
The free pizzas will go to the first 1,111 Facebook fans who provide contact information on Pizza Hut’s wall whenever the company updates its status with the offer (and terms) on Jan. 1. These fans will then receive a $10 Pizza Hut gift card good toward the purchase of a Stuffed Crust Pizza.
The Stuffed Crust Pizza was first introduced in 1995. It includes a ring of cheese baked into the outer crust. The newest version of this item is Pizza Hut’s panned pizza, introduced last year.
