Domino's Pizza plans to open three restaurants in Bulgaria by the end of 2011.

According to the Sofia Echo, the company's first restaurant opened in Sofia on Jan. 7.

The unit was originally set to open in October, but equipment delivery issues caused a delay.

Domino's representatives for the Bulgarian markets are Nikola Nikolov and Lazgin Majid, who plan on eventually opening outlets in other major cities throughout the country.
