MacKenzie River Pizza, a Montana-based chain, is expanding its horizon. The company’s website indicates that two new locations are in the works in Indianapolis and in Spokane, Wash.
Both are anticipated to open in the spring.
MacKenzie River Pizza features three crust options, including sourdough, natural grain and thin, as well as a sandwich lineup prepared on sourdough bread, made-to-order pasta, salads and a variety of microbrews and wines.
This isn’t the company's first venture outside of the Treasure State. In addition to its 12 Montana units, MacKenzie River, which was founded in 1993, also exists in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
The current units are managed by Glacier Restaurant Group. Franchising opportunities are available through CM Brands.
