Picazzo’s Organic Italian Kitchen has launched a number of offerings for February, including heart-shaped pizzas, a heart smart gourmet salad and a new cocktail called the Love Potion.
Picazzo’s heart-shaped, Neapolitan-style pizzas will be sold for lunch and dinner on Valentine's Day. Options range from the Naples Style Margherita to the California pizza. Each pizza is available with a gluten-free crust and can be combined with a bottle of house wine and small salad or dessert for two for $44.
The heart smart gourmet salad includes organic spinach and mixed greens, candied walnuts, diced Fuji apples, tomatoes, avocado slices, blue cheese crumbles and fig vinaigrette from Queen Creek Olive Oil. It is available in three sizes.
The Love Potion cocktail combines Corazon Reposado Tequila, agave nectar, lime juice, slivers of jalapenos and pineapple chunks. It is available on Valentine’s Day and then through the remainder of February.
“Our salad is packed with heart-healthy ingredients. And the heart-shaped pizzas and Love Potion are perfect for people looking to dine a little differently on Valentine’s Day,” said Rick Freedman, Picazzo’s founder.
A portion of February’s proceeds will go toward the American Heart Association.
Picazzo’s Organic Italian Kitchen was founded in 2002 and includes seven restaurants throughout Arizona.
