Kashi, the all-natural food company, has added to its line of frozen pizzas, launching the new Basil Pesto Pizza.
The item joins the brand’s Caribbean Carnival, Margherita, Mediterranean, Mexicali Black Bean, Mushroom Trio & Spinach and Roasted Vegetable pizza options.
The pizzas are made with Kashi’s proprietary Seven Whole Grains and Sesame blend. The Basil Pesto Pizza also includes a savory basil pesto sauce with sweet roma tomatoes, caramelized onions, mozzarella and feta cheeses on a wood-fired thin and crispy crust.
The 3-serving pizza includes 11 grams of whole grains, 14 grams of protein and 4 grams of fiber. It is available at retail outlets nationwide for a suggested price of $5.99.
"We understand that people have busy lifestyles and don't always have the time to prepare meals from scratch, so we are excited to provide these frozen options that not only taste great, but also offer wholesome, natural ingredients," said Keegan Sheridan, natural food and lifestyle expert at Kashi.
