Texas-based Mr. Jim's Pizza Inc. has launched a new iPhone app. The free feature allows customers to:
• Order any Mr. Jim's Pizza product
• Find the nearest Mr. Jim's Pizza location
• Get access to coupons and special offers
• Read detailed nutritional information about Mr. Jim's products
• Play games such as Tic-Tac-Toe, Who's Paying and Pick Six
The new feature is available at the iTunes App Store by searching "jims."
"We were the first chain to have online ordering in all stores. Now, with the launch of this iPhone app, we are once again using technology to become more available to our customers and enhance our customers' experience," said Jim Johnson, founder of Mr. Jim's Pizza.
The chain developed and programmed the mobile ordering app from the ground up.
"We did not license this app from a third party, so we were able to add the features most important to our customers," Johnson said.
Mr. Jim's is also introducing a new Pick Six contest in which a customer uses the iPhone app to select and submit six numbers. Each week there will be a drawing from the winning entries for a free pizza.
As a special incentive, there will be an additional, one-time-only drawing on April 15 for a $500 grand prize. Only one entry per iPhone will be accepted.
Mr. Jim's Pizza is a chain of pizza delivery and pick-up restaurants located in Texas, Louisiana, Wyoming and North Carolina.
