Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers will open a new unit in Gatlinburg, Tenn., on May 2. The restaurant is located in the Ole Smoky Moonshine Holler, at the intersection of Parkway and Airport Road.
Darby Campbell, Ed Campbell Jr., Ed Campbell Sr., Phil Campbell, Kurt Juergens, Robert McManus, Fred Perkinson and Richie and Carol Rubio are the owners and operators of the new restaurant. The group also owns a Mellow Mushroom in Pigeon Forge, Tenn.
Mellow Mushroom's menu features a wide variety of pizzas, hoagies, salads, calzones, appetizers, vegan options and a gluten-free crust. It also includes unique artwork in a rustic moonshine atmosphere coupled with urban fixtures.
This Mellow Mushroom will feature trivia nights and a 70-beer club, including. It also includes a 900-square-foot retail space to purchase Mellow Gear, and an adjoining full-service daiquiri bar.
