Pizza POS developer SpeedLine will make its exhibiting debut at the 2011 National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show at McCormick Place in Chicago May 21-24.
Attendees will have the opportunity to test drive SpeedLine's POS systems designed specifically for the quickly evolving technology requirements of pizza and delivery.
"From delivery dispatch and mapping to web ordering, mobile marketing, and social media, the nation's top pizza chains — and their tech-savvy customers — are driving a technology overhaul of the restaurant industry," said Craig Baker, channel sales manager for SpeedLine POS.
Baker added that most POS systems are not designed for the unique pizza business model, which includes phone and mobile orders, as well as inventory tracking of create-your-own menu items.
SpeedLine POS is built from the ground up to manage the business of pizza. With an open design and flexible developer tools, the system is the hub of the newest restaurant technologies.
Joining SpeedLine at the NRA Show will be North Country Business Products, the company's local representative in Chicago and surrounding states, and one of the nation's leading POS dealers. SpeedLine and North Country will be available to meet with restaurant operators in booth #5467-5468.
