CEC Entertainment's Chuck E. Cheese's is bringing the classic, 102-year-old game of Skeeball online. The free game will serve as an online extension of the popular in-store game, providing an opportunity for guests to win up to 40 free tickets redeemable at any Chuck E. Cheese's location.
"For as long as we can remember, one of everyone's favorite arcade games at Chuck E. Cheese's has been Skeeball," said Brenda Holloway, Chuck E. Cheese's marketing manager. "We're always looking for new ways to bring the one-of-a-kind Chuck E. Cheese's legacy to families even when they can't be with us in stores, and the new online Skeeball game is the perfect example of that. For the first time, kids and parents can play a long-time favorite right from their home while still winning tickets for great prizes."
Guests can join in on playing this classic Chuck E. Cheese's game online from any Internet browser. To begin, kids use their mouse to move left or right on the screen to select which part of the lane to use, then click the mouse button when the moving ball on the accuracy meter is in the middle of the target to launch the balls up the ramp.
After rolling all nine balls, kids can print a free ticket reward certificate redeemable for up to 40 tickets to use on their next visit to a Chuck E. Cheese's restaurant. One certificate can be redeemed per child, per day.
Skeeball was invented in 1909 by J.D. Estes in Philadelphia and has been part of the Chuck E. Cheese's experience since the company's beginnings in 1977.
