In celebration of its 'Aniversario de Plata,' Pizza Patrón is promoting the everyday price of $4 for its Amigo Pizza – a 12-inch medium pie with one topping.
This offering is $1 less than the lowest-priced pizza on the chain's menu in 1986, when it was founded. The $4 Amigo Pizzas will be advertised on television and radio through June 30.
The first Pizza Patrón opened in the Pleasant Grove community of Dallas. It now operates 100 restaurants in seven states.
"Great brands are disciplined and have intense focus," said Antonio Swad, founder of Pizza Patrón. "Our vision at Pizza Patrón is unapologetically centered on serving the Latino customer now, and in the future, just as it has done for the last quarter century. Serving Hispanic communities was a good idea then, and it is even more relevant today ... We plan to lead on."
Also in celebration of its milestone, Pizza Patrón, in partnership with Pepsi, recently rolled out a commemorative beverage bottle bearing the image of well-loved Hispanic icon, Cantinflas.
