Domino's Pizza Australia, the largest pizza chain in that country, has launched a mobile ordering site for all smartphone devices.
According to Franchising magazine, the site is the most advanced mobile ordering site in Australia. With the new ordering component, Domino's hopes to drive digital sales to more than 50 percent of total sales within the next three years.
The goal seems reasonable. Domino's Australia launched its iPhone app in late 2009, a move that generated more than $2 million in the first three months.
Domino's rolled out a mobile ordering in the U.S. in 2007.
