CiCi's Pizza raised more than $5,000 at a June fundraiser to help aid residents of Joplin, Miss., with tornado relief efforts. Fifteen CiCi's locations throughout Missouri and Eastern Kansas participated in the fundraiser, with each donating 10 percent of their total all-day sales to the Joplin Community Salvation Army.

CiCi's corporate office matched the donation and gave $5,000 to CiCi's team members in Joplin who were affected by last month's tornado, making the total donation amount $10,000.

The CiCi's restaurant in Joplin was destroyed by the tornado but will be rebuilt.
