The National Restaurant Association has opened attendee registration for its 2012 Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show and International Wine, Spirits & Beer Event (IWSB). The 2012 event will be held at Chicago's McCormick Place, May 5-8.
The dates for the 2012 show have been changed to avoid overlap with the Global G8 and NATO Summit, scheduled to take place in Chicago from May 15-22.
A special "early bird" online-only discount – a 66 percent savings – is available for restaurant and hospitality industry professionals who register before Nov. 18. Members of the NRA receive complimentary registration for the NRA Show and a member-only rate for IWSB.
The trade show features cutting-edge products, services and information for the restaurant and hotel industries. The co-located IWSB will take place May 6-7, and is the only beverage alcohol event exclusively focused on growing restaurant and hospitality bar programs.

"Registering for NRA Show 2012 now provides access to a hotbed of discovery and interactivity that showcases new innovation, best-in-class products, services and solutions you need in your business, as well as cutting-edge ideas that promote growth opportunities," said David Gilbert, chief operating officer of the NRA.
Qualified IWSB attendees will automatically be registered for the NRA Show. However, those registering for the NRA Show must register separately to attend IWSB; separate qualifications, registration and badges are required for IWSB.
Before November 18, 2011, registration for the NRA Show is $30, and IWSB registration is $85. Between Nov. 19 and March 30, 2012, NRA Show registration is $45 and IWSB registration is $100. After March 30, registration fees increase to $90 for the NRA Show and $145 for IWSB.
Registration for NRA Show 2012 and IWSB 2012 exhibitors and for news media and bloggers will open later this fall.
