Breakaway Restaurant Solutions, provider of automation technology for management of delivery, quick-service and fast casual restaurants, has launched Version 5.0 of the Vision POS platform. The version is available at no additional cost to clients on software maintenance.
Vision POS Version 5.0 contains the recently announced PA-DSS certification, as well as 78 changes over the Vision 4.20 product. Included in the release are 10 new features and two enhancements. Notably, a new payment capability and direct payment integration with Hypercom's SmartPayments gateway provide a new level of efficiency and productivity in processing and accounting for credit and debit card consumer payments.
Additionally, the ease of menu items setup has been enhanced with copy functionality, which saves time and reduces errors, said Michael Stuhlman, director of sales and operations at Breakaway.
"Our clients have asked for these new capabilities and we are excited about seeing them benefit from Vision 5.0," he said.
