Jive Software's annual Jive Awards recognized Yum! Brands as a winner for outstanding customer results using Social Business Software.
Yum! Brands was selected for the "New Way to Lead" award by utilizing the collaborative potential of the social web to connect employees through its use of iCHING, an internal knowledge-sharing network.
Yum! employees globally share best practices and information through the network to meet the company's business needs.
"iCHING connects our employees around the world, generating meaningful collaboration and communication," said Meghan Mehrens, senior manager, Business Social. "This important resource serves as a knowledge-sharing vehicle to drive our business."
Other winners at the event include Avon, with the "Engage Partners" award; McAfee, with the "Engage Customers" award; Pearson, with the "Engage Employees: award; and T-Mobile with the "New Way to Business" award.

Jive's Social Business software combines community software, collaboration software, social networking software and social media monitoring offerings into an integrated platform. The Jive Awards were created in 2009.
