Two managers of a Lake City, Fla., Domino's Pizza unit have been charged with arson in connection to a fire that destroyed a Papa John's Pizza location across town.

According to, the fire was reported before 3 a.m. Oct. 20. By the time it was brought under control, the Papa John's business had been gutted.

Shortly thereafter, the fire was ruled an arson. After a short investigation led by the local police department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Sean Everett Davidson, 23, was arrested.

Another Domino's manager, Bryan David Sullivan, 22, was interviewed a day later and also was arrested and charged with arson. Police said his motive was an increase in business if Papa John's was put out of business.
